Drewbie almost ran over my camera earlier this evening. I left my backpack leaning up against the wheel of his car and when he started pulling out, it fell over. He backed over the backpack. I made a huge scene. Heart raced, whole episode. Thought of my lens. My lens. Opened it and it was just in there far enough to escape his wheel. Lucky. I went into thinking about how shitty my life would be without photography after that. Everything would be so much more awkward and boring. Made me sick to my stomach.

Civilization has so cluttered this elemental man-earth relationship with gadgets and middlemen that awareness of it is growing dim. We fancy that industry supports us, forgetting what supports industry.

I would love for The North Face to sue the shit out of this knock off, The South Butt company. Its whole line of clothing is a complete joke and its facebook ads really piss me off.
